A Beautiful Natural Landscape
With a total surface area of 12,000 square meters, the harmonious landscape of the Gargazon Natural Bath offers plenty of space for a variety of recreational activities. The terrain has been landscaped and modeled with gentle rolling hillocks so that visitors have even more comfortable spots to sunbath and play. From May till September, visitors of all ages can thus enjoy a wide range of leisure and recreational activities in and around the pure, clean water and amidst the attractive scenery.
…for Children, Non-Swimmers, and Water Enthusiasts
In particular children can expect lots of opportunity for fun and games at the Gargazon Natural Bath:
- The naturally modeled brook with a wading pool for toddlers has a depth of max. 30 cm (12 inches) and is the ideal place to splash and play in the naturally purified water.
- The Non-Swimming Area is accessible via a pebble beach. Here, the water has a depth of between 0 and 1.20 meters (four feet).
- Swimmers can swim to their heart’s content in the 50-meter pool; in the separate Fun Pool (with a depth of 2.0 meters), they can jump and splash all they want.
In the green areas, there’s lots of playground equipment, a beach volleyball field, table tennis, table soccer, as well as loungers, beach umbrellas, picnic tables, and spacious wooden platforms where guests can play, rest, and enjoy themselves on dry land. Right from the grand opening of the Gargazon Natural Bath, tall trees provide restful shade.
The Dragonflies Show the Way
Dragonflies feel especially at home near flowing water and ponds. At the Gargazon Natural Bath, a cheerful pair of dragonflies serve as your orientation through the service building and around the grounds. These dragonflies welcome guests at the entrance and act as mascots for young guests.
In the service building, too, Mother Nature has served as a template. Plants are cultivated on the roof, and beneath the roof, you’ll find twelve individual and three family dressing rooms, 120 lockers where you can safely store your clothes, the bathroom facilities and the showers, hot-air hair dryers, the First Aid Room, the cash register and the bar and beautiful sundeck. In designing our facility, we have, of course, taken the special needs of families with children into account.
